FBG Strain Sensor

Alxenses’s FBG strain sensors makes use of the inherent strain sensitivity of FBG. A FBG is fixed or prestrained inside a housing between two anchoring points. Each package is terminated with an optical connector. The sensor can be employed for concrete health monitoring, strain monitoring in composite structures, strain monitoring on reinforcement steel bars, vibration monitoring.

Athermal Strain Sensor (P/N: ALASS02)

Alxenses’s Athermal Strain Sensor ALASS02 is a Fiber Bragg Grating based sensor with a special design by cancelling the intrinsic fiber optic thermal sensitivity. It is designed to be embedded in the concrete.
